LITTLE HATCHLINGS and my good friend UYEN {newborn photographer tampa}

Hey everyone.. I wanted to share some info with you about Little Hatchlings.

I met Uyen a little over a year ago and we have been become fast friends.
She has two INCREDIBLE little girls that always make me smile!

But what I am writing about today is this: Little Hatchlings  - she makes these beautiful hair accessories and I am sure you have seen them in many of my newborn and child photos.
Her work has been used in photo shoots, by brides, flower girls and babies.
They have been used as part of the decorations too. Her stuff is AWESOME!

I told her I was going to do this so I asked her to tell me a bit about herself.. she is so funny..
she sent me this 'snippet' about herself and although it was informative it doesn't really talk about who she is as a person.
She is amazing.  She has a kind heart and I ALWAYS enjoy spending time with her.

Thanks Uyen.. I really appreciate your support and I love ya girl! :)

I have attached some photos below.

 These are just a few of the photos I have taken using Little Hatchlings accessories.  :)
Gosh I really LOVE my job!!

Because she went to the trouble of writing the 'snippet' I am adding some of it here.
"I am a former biologist and I worked in the medical field up until I had my first daughter. Born out of the love for all things girly girl, I started handcrafting headbands after my second little girl was born. I LOVE what I do and I love anything modern with a vintage twist. By using designer cotton fabrics, luxurious dupioni silks and satins, and beautiful embellishments, I strive to deliver items that are crafted superior to the mass-produced items in the market. Not only is it important for me to provide exceptional craftsmanship but it’s also important that my clients have a unique and beautiful accessory that they will treasure throughout their childhood. NO COUCH POTATO HERE.. {tampa photographer}

So one of my most recent new clients needed some new shots done to use on her website and marketing.
Here is her link..  http://www.fitnesssimply.com/
Mare is awesome and so funny and inspiring.  So you must check her site out and if you need a nice 'kick' in the butt to start that fitness routine or eat better or even just make small changes.. she's your girl.
But let me tell you a little about our shoot.
She came to the studio and boy was I surprised when she pulled Mr. Potato Head out of her bag.
After a second it dawned on me.. 'dont be a couch potato'   it was great and just the kind of thing I love to implement in photo shoots.  So she gave me her idea and we did it.. but right at the end I decided to give Mr Potato Head one last chance to make an appearance. (see photo) He did a great job.. okay Mare did too.. :)
We had a really good time and she loved the end results.  Her husband requested this very photo for his office.  LOVE THAT!!! thanks Mare (and the potato) for making my job soo much fun.. I truly have the best job!!!
AND AS MARE SAID... she's HIP to the needs of couch potatoes. So give her a call!! FUN

But I want to post this photo..
I have been taking Courtney's progression photos for awhile and I also had the unique honor of capturing the birth of the baby.
So today the whole family came in and we did a few photos but the one I wanted to do the most was the last progression photo..

SNEAK PEEK - JAXIE WITH MOM & DAD IN THE STUDIO {tampa pet photographer}

Hey everyone.. since Jaxie's Mom & Dad aren't on FB I decided to put their Sneak Peek on my blog so that they can enjoy it.
I know it's been a while since I posted on my blog (bad me) but I am going to try to do it with each FB entry.
So anyway.. back to Jaxie.. she's a little Jack  Russell  and full of energy.  But she did soooo good.
We did some Christmas photos of her.  She was very patient with all of our crazy doings..
There were so many to choose from but this one just really appealed to me.  I think it's the look on her face.  How cute.

So here she is:  JAXIE!!!

my pet life installment four! plus me

Okay so many of you know that I have pets.  That I love animals!  That I will pretty much rescue anything off the side of the road...
Do I have days that I wake up and say.. 'ugh..why do I have pets?'  yes I do..   I have been having a few of those lately.. but.. when I want laughs and fun.. really it usually never gets any better then my pets.

So today I was out with the dogs and looking at the new growth on trees and flowers etc.
Well I have this one flower bush that I bought at Greenfest at UT many years ago.  We had one at the front of the farm house I grew up in. In Indiana,  It was huge and it was sooo dainty and pretty and perfect.  I loved it.  I couldn't find it anywhere else until Greenfest.. so I bought it..  I LOVE THIS THING!

So when we had all the cold I was worried I had lost it..  but there it was sooo bloomed out I thought it would make a good backdrop for me a new photo.  Then I thought.. wait the dogs would look great too.. so of course the dogs had to be part of it.  They weren't too happy.  The importance of me getting a perfect shot seems to be lost on them.  I can't figure it out.  Aren't they suppose to be my best friend and understand my every mood and need?  Oh well.. reluctant though they were, I did manage some half decent ones.. enjoy!
the second one of the husky.. is the typical look I get from her every single day!
